SMFNO
Specifies the SMF record type for audit logging. You can specify a value from 128 to 255, or 0. The default is 0.
Note:
  1. Specifying SMFNO=0 indicates that audit logging will not create SMF records.
  2. File Manager base only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN0PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
  3. FM/IMS only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN1PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
  4. FM/Db2 only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN2PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
  5. FM/CICS only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN3PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
  6. When the FMAUDIT parameter specifies SAF_CTRL=YES, audit logging is controlled by SAF and File Manager ignores this parameter.
