The LINK_DEACT_TIMER parameter specifies the time, in seconds, that this link can be idle before it automatically deactivates. The link deactivation timer is only used when the LIMITED_RESOURCE parameter is specified as INACTIVITY.

The value is an integer in the range of 0–60000 seconds.


The Communications Server icon
 The default is 10 seconds.

The Personal Communications icon
 The default is 600 seconds.

This parameter is optional.

Note:
If zero is specified, the default value is used. Otherwise, the minimum value is 5. (If it is set any lower, the specified value is ignored and 5 is used.)
