templateDir

When you generate COBOL for z/OS® batch, iSeries®, or IMS/BMP, the templateDir build descriptor option specifies the directory that contains the templates used to produce sample runtime JCL for z/OS® batch or sample runtime CL for iSeries®.

For z/OS® batch, the sample runtime JCL is generated if the genRunFile build descriptor option is set to YES.

For iSeries®, the sample runtime CL is generated only for called programs. The sample runtime CL is used at runtime only if the program is called from a client program running on a workstation.
