When you generate a COBOL program for a CICS® environment, the endCommArea build descriptor option indicates whether to add a full word containing the hexadecimal "FFFFFFFF" to the end of the COMMAREA on calls from EGL-generated CICS® COBOL programs.

Values

YES: Adds the hexadecimal "FFFFFFFF" to the end of the COMMAREA.
NO (the default value): Does not add the hexadecimal "FFFFFFFF" to the end of the COMMAREA.
