currencyLocation
When you generate Java™ code, the currencyLocation build descriptor option is used when you need to determine the location of a currency symbol in a string representing a monetary value. This option determines whether the currency symbol is placed at the front, back, or whether there is no symbol location designated.
The currencyLocation build descriptor option assigns a character to the vgj.nls.currency.location Java™ runtime property, but only if the genProperties build descriptor option is set to GLOBAL or PROGRAM.
Values
- NONE (the default value)
- No symbol location is designated.
- FRONT
- The currency symbol is placed at the front of the numeric string.
- BACK
- The currency symbol is placed at the end of the numeric string.
