cancelAfterTransfer

When you generate a COBOL program for z/OS®, the cancelAfterTransfer build descriptor option indicates whether an EGL-generated program is removed from memory when both of the following occur:

The program issues a transfer to program statement.
A dynamic linkage is involved; in particular, the build descriptor identifies a linkage options part in which a transferToProgram element is in effect for the transfer, and the linkType property for that element is set to DYNAMIC.

Values

YES: Places a COBOL CANCEL in the transferring program.
NO (the default value): Does not place a COBOL CANCEL in the transferring program.
