Changing column attributes
Attributes are used to determine how to display, print, or create a column.
To change a column attribute, use the Column Selection/Edit panel and enter E
in
the Cmd field against one or more columns. For each column you select, FM/Db2 displays a Column Attributes panel.
The attributes you can change are:
- Column heading
- Output width
- Whether to show leading zeros (numeric columns)
- Values to use for creating new columns
Note:
- For numeric, DATE, TIME, and TIMESTAMP columns, you can change the column heading as for an alphanumeric column.
- For DATE, TIME, and TIMESTAMP columns, you can change the output width as for an alphanumeric column.
- For very long columns, change the display width to a smaller value to see more data on the display.
