setClobFromString()

The lobLib.setClobFromString() system function copies a string into the memory area referenced by a CLOB variable.

Syntax

  lobLib.setClobFromString(
    clobVariable CLOB inOut,
    str STRING in)

clobVariable: The CLOB variable. If this parameter has a null value, EGL creates a new CLOB and copies in the string data.
str: The string to be copied.
