loadBlobFromFile()

The lobLib.loadBlobFromFile() system function copies the data from a specified file to the memory area referenced by a variable of type BLOB.

Syntax

  lobLib.loadBlobFromFile(
    blobVariable BLOB inOut,
    fileName STRING in)

blobVariable: The BLOB variable. If this parameter has a null value, EGL creates a new BLOB and copies in the file data.
fileName: The name of the file. The name is fully qualified or is relative to the directory from which the program is invoked.
