loadClobFromFile()

The lobLib.loadClobFromFile() system function copies the data from a specified file to the memory area referenced by a variable of type CLOB.

Syntax

  lobLib.loadClobFromFile(
    clobVariable CLOB inOut,
    fileName STRING in)

clobVariable: The CLOB variable. If this parameter has a null value, EGL creates a new CLOB and copies in the file data.
fileName: The name of the file. The name is fully qualified or is relative to the directory from which the program is invoked.
