Sorting the displayed data
Use the SORT primary command to sort a column in the current object list.
To sort one column (in ascending sequence):
- Type
SORT
on the command line. - Place the cursor within the column you want to sort.
- Press Enter.
FM/Db2 sorts the column in ascending sequence.
To sort multiple columns, in ascending or descending sequence:
- Type
SORT
on the command line. - Ensure the cursor is not positioned within any column.
- Press Enter:
FM/Db2 displays the Sort Fields panel.
You can limit the number of entries shown on the panel by entering search criteria in the areas marked by an asterisk (*) immediately below the headings.
