Secondary Index Selection panel

The Secondary Index Selection panel is displayed when, on the Browse or Edit Entry panel, you select:
  • The Secondary index option
  • "Dynamic" for PSB type.
  • A database that has more than one secondary index.

This panel displays all the secondary indexes for the selected database.

Subsystem
The subsystem ID you specified on the Browse or Edit Entry panel.
Database
The name of the database you specified on the Browse or Edit Entry panel.
Cmd
The line command field.
Secondary index
The name of the secondary index.
Target segment
The segment that the index segment points to.
Source segment
The segment containing the source fields from which the index is constructed.
Search fields
The search fields of the secondary index.

A Fast Path secondary index (FPSI) may have multiple secondary index segments defined. When an FPSI has multiple secondary index segments, the search fields for each secondary index segment are displayed on separate lines.
