Database

Shows the name of the current database.

Segment

Shows the name of the current segment.

Description

Shows the description of the segment as entered on the Template Specification panel.

Field

Shows the name of the field as defined in the DBD for the database.

Characteristics

Shows one of the following to indicate the type of key field.

• Sequence - Unique
• Sequence - Multiple
• Secondary index source

This field is blank for a non-key field.

Start

Shows the starting position of the field.

Length

Shows the length of the field.

Type

Shows one of the following to indicate the data type for the field:

• Hexadecimal
• Packed decimal
• Character
• Binary full word
• Binary half word
