The OEM_DATA parameter specifies binary information specific for the OEM card manufacturer's use only. Communications Server supports the use of OEM communications devices where the OEM manufacturer provides its own configuration panels. These panels plug into the Communications Server configuration application. Communications Server passes a buffer to the OEM device configuration function that gets set with this binary data based on user input on the OEM configuration panels. It is not recommended that the user modify this parameter as the format is very specific to the OEM device. It is recommended that the configuration application be used instead to set this data. More than one OEM_DATA parameter might appear in the ASCII configuration file.

Note:
Since the format of this binary data is very specific to the OEM device, you should not attempt to enter this value directly into the ACG file. The value should only be entered using the configuration application provided by the OEM manufacturer.
