- Using your Rational® ClearQuest® Web client
  Rational® ClearQuest® Web is a browser-based interface to Rational ClearQuest that runs on Windows, the UNIX system, and Linux. You can track defects and change requests in Rational ClearQuest Web through this interface. When a session times out, you can re-authenticate and continue where you left off because the state of the user interface is retained.

Logging on to a Rational® ClearQuest® database

The Rational® ClearQuest® database contains the records, queries, charts, reports, and more that you can work with.

About this task

To log on to a Rational® ClearQuest® database:

Procedure

Click Start > Programs > IBM Rational > IBM Rational ClearQuest > Rational ClearQuest.

If multiple schema repositories are available, the Rational® ClearQuest® Schema Repository window opens. Go to Step 2.

Otherwise, the Rational® ClearQuest® Login window opens. Go to Step 3.
If the Rational® ClearQuest® Schema Repository window opens, select the repository that contains the database you need and click Next.

In the Rational® ClearQuest® Login window, enter your user name and password in the User Name and Password fields, select a database from the Database list, and click OK.

The main window of the Rational® ClearQuest® for Windows® client opens.
