Configuring an Eclipse Workbench for Rational® ClearQuest® reporting activities

Use the following instructions to install the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver into an Eclipse workbench.

Create a Eclipse update site

Before you begin

Before installing the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver, make sure that the Business Intelligence and Reporting framework is installed and loaded in the Eclipse Workbench.

Procedure

Select Window > Help > Install new software.
Click Add to create a local update site.
From the Add Repository dialog, specify a name for the local update site, Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver for example.
For the location, specify the directory <clearquest_home>/reports/driver
Use the Local... button to locate the file path on the file system.
Click OK to save the update site.

Install the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver features

Procedure

In Name list, click the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver check box
Click Next.
From the Install Details page, click Next.
From Review Licenses page, review license text. You must click I accept the terms of the license agreement to proceed
Click Finish to install the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver.
After installation completes, click Restart Now to restart the workbench and activate the driver.
