About the Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver

The Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver provides ClearQuest® authenticated access to ClearQuest® data sources to design and run data-pull reports.

The Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver partially implements the Java™ Database Connectivity (JDBC) API, which enables various reporting tools to consume Rational® ClearQuest® data. The JDBC implementation uses the Rational® ClearQuest® Web server API to interface with ClearQuest®, thus preserving the ClearQuest® security model and providing data access by third-party reporting tools such as the Business Intelligence Reporting (BIRT) tools. The Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver is packaged as an Eclipse plug-in named com.ibm.rational.clearquest<version>.<timestamp>.jar. This plug-in is installed automatically with any ClearQuest® component.

The Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver is supported for use by the following reporting and development tools.

The Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting Driver is automatically installed to the following directory during the installation of any ClearQuest® feature:
