The twsinst log file name is:
On Windows operating systems:
<TWS_INST_DIR>\logs\twsinst_<operating_system>_<TWS_user>_<version_number>.log
Where:
TWS_INST_DIR
The IBM Workload Scheduler installation directory. The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\IBM\TWA_<TWS_user>.
operating_system
The operating system.
TWS_user
The name of the user for which IBM Workload Scheduler was installed, that you supplied during the installation process.
On UNIX operating systems:
<TWS_INST_DIR>/TWSDATA/installation/logs/twsinst_<operating_system>_<TWS_user>_<product_version_number>.log
Where:
TWS_INST_DIR
The IBM Workload Scheduler installation directory. The default installation directory is /opt/IBM/TWA_<TWS_user>.
operating_system
The operating system.
TWS_user
The name of the user for which IBM Workload Scheduler was installed, that you supplied during the installation process.
