The agent communication
service could not start. This service is a lightweight web server that agents use to
communicate with the workbench and to serve web reports. Typically, this error occurs when a
server process on the workbench computer is listening on the same port that
Rational® Performance
Tester requires. This
error can also occur when two instances of
Rational® Performance
Tester run on the same
workbench.
If multiple instances of the
Rational® Performance
Tester workbench
are running on the same computer, close all but one instance. These instances include
Rational® Performance
Tester workbenches
that are running on multiple user desktop systems. If the error message
RPTS1002E_PORTS_CONSUMED is also displayed in the error log, see the message for that error.
After the error is resolved, restart
Rational® Performance
Tester.
