Using project templates

You can save _Rational® Test RealTime projects as .rtpl project templates. Project templates allow you to accelerate the creation of a new project by using a template that contains your basic test project environment, including settings, test or application nodes, or common libraries.

To create a project template:

In theProject Browser, set up a basic project that you will use as a template.
SelectFile > Save Project As Template.

To create a new project based on a template:

On the Start Page, select Get Started and New Project from Template or click File > New > New Project from Template.
Locate the.rtplproject template and clickOpen.
SelectFile > Save Project As Template.
