Error Messages from the iSeries, eServer i5, or System i5
When the system is connected to a zSeries™ host
system through an iSeries™, eServer™ i5,
or System i5™, the following message might appear on
the screen.
AS/400 CPI5xxxThe message might appear for the following reasons:
- Line error between the iSeries™, eServer™ i5, or System i5™ system and the host system
- Communication configuration description error in the iSeries™, eServer™ i5, or System i5™ system
- The communication configuration description in the iSeries™, eServer™ i5, or System i5™ system is set to off (Vary Off)
When this message appears, detailed error information is saved in the iSeries™, eServer™ i5, or System i5™ system operator message queue. Refer to the error message that corresponds to the number displayed on the screen and then correct the cause of the error.
