printFile()
Use the textReport.printFile() function to add the contents of a text file to the report. The engine assumes each line of the file fits on the report page and does not truncate or wrap any content.
Syntax
textReport.printFile(
fileName STRING in)
- textReport
- The name of a variable that is based on the TextReport external type.
- fileName
- The name of the file to be added to the report. Use forward slashes for directory separators.
Example
The following example clears the error messages for the report:
myReport TextReport = new TextReport();
...
myReport.printFile("C:/temp/schedule.txt");
