EGL reports

EGL provides the following external mechanisms for producing reports:

The Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) engine creates reports in HTML or PDF formats. The technology is described in the EGL Programmer's Guide, in "Creating Reports with BIRT."
The EGL text report engine creates plain text reports. For more information, see EGL text reports.
