HATS Dojo widget considerations and limitations

Dojo is an open-source technology and is under continual development. To see an updated list of known considerations and limitations, including supported browsers, when using HATS Dojo widgets, see "Host Access Transformation Services V9.6 - Known issues and workarounds" at https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/876092. Following is a list of considerations and limitations when working with HATS Dojo widgets:
  • Dojo widgets are supported only in HATS Web applications. They are not supported in the following HATS applications:
    • Bidirectional
    • Mobile device
    • Rich client
  • Dojo widgets are not supported in the following HATS implementations:
    • Alternate rendering
    • Default rendering
    • Global rules
    • Screen combinations
    • HATS tabbed folders
  • Dojo elements encompassing large areas of a host screen may not fit into desired layouts. If multiple component elements within a single component creates a problem for your layout, consider specifying smaller host screen regions to layout individual component elements.
