Enhanced ISPF: Reference List, Search, Change, and PDSE Workbench
File Manager provides several enhancements to the basic facilities that are available in an ISPF session: Enhanced Reference List, Enhanced Search, Enhanced Change, Indexed Search, and PDSE Workbench.
Indexed search
Use the indexed search to search for words in one or more partitioned data sets that are not load libraries. The search uses an index that contains all of the words and the occurrences of each word in a group of data sets.

- Function and panel reference lists

General

This panel is used to generate the LANG= and DSN1-DSNn groupings for the INDEX member definition.

Enter the language Name, Member and Mask values and press ENTER to select the DSN1-DSNn values for the group. When one or more data sets are selected, the group is added to the scrollable list displayed below these fields. Repeat the operation to add more groups. Press F3 to proceed to the edit INDEX member session populated with the groups defined on this panel.
