Enhanced ISPF: Reference List, Search, Change, and PDSE Workbench
File Manager provides several enhancements to the basic facilities that are available in an ISPF session: Enhanced Reference List, Enhanced Search, Enhanced Change, Indexed Search, and PDSE Workbench.
Indexed search
Use the indexed search to search for words in one or more partitioned data sets that are not load libraries. The search uses an index that contains all of the words and the occurrences of each word in a group of data sets.

- Function and panel reference lists

Field descriptions

Name: The name of the Language data set. Leave blank to select a name from history. Enter a generic name to select from a data set list.
Member: The name of the Language member. Leave blank to select from the recommended automatic detection members. Specify a generic member to select from a member list.
Mask: This is the initial mask that is used for the data set selection displayed when the Add option is selected. Leave blank to select a mask from history.
Note: The mask can be changed from the data set selection list to include other data set names in the group.

Note:

First time users the Name and Member fields are populated with hlq.SFMNSAM1 and FMNXAUTO as the recommended default language data set and member name. This is automatic word detection with no duplicate member processing and no mixed case processing.

If the Member is blank and the member FMNXAUTO can be found in the language data set, then the following panel id displays where a selection can be made from the recommended automatic word detection members:
