Enhanced ISPF: Reference List, Search, Change, and PDSE Workbench
File Manager provides several enhancements to the basic facilities that are available in an ISPF session: Enhanced Reference List, Enhanced Search, Enhanced Change, Indexed Search, and PDSE Workbench.
Indexed search
Use the indexed search to search for words in one or more partitioned data sets that are not load libraries. The search uses an index that contains all of the words and the occurrences of each word in a group of data sets.

- Function and panel reference lists

Column descriptions

Word: Lists the words that match the expression. Position the cursor to a resultant word match and press Enter in this column to show the indexed search report.
Hits: Number of lines where the word occurs. Position the cursor and press Enter in this column to show the indexed search report.
Data sets: Number of data sets containing this word. Position the cursor and press Enter in this column to display the data sets containing this word.
Members: Number of members. Position the cursor and press Enter in this column to display a summarized indexed search report.
