Index definition members

Insert New member panel

The Insert New member panel to create a new index is displayed when:
  1. A new index directory data set is created.
  2. The prefix command, I, is entered on the Index List panel.
  3. The primary command S new_member_name is entered on the Index List panel.

Field descriptions

Member
The name of the new index definition member to be created. This is the index name.
Description
A brief description of the index being created.
