Checklist of user tasks on Linux™ and UNIX™ system

Before you can use a Rational® ClearQuest® client, you must complete several post-installation tasks. These tasks vary based on the Rational® ClearQuest® client you want to use.

Before you configure the Rational® ClearQuest® client for your local system, gather the following information from the System Administrator for your Rational® ClearQuest® environment:

User ID and password credentials for the Rational® ClearQuest® client you plan to use
Confirmation that the Rational® ClearQuest® client is deployed in your environment
A valid license for running the Rational® ClearQuest® client
