Installing and configuring the Z Monitoring agent

How IBM® Z Workload Scheduler integrates with IBM Z Monitoring.

Before you begin

Before installing the agent, ensure that the following IBM Z Monitoring components are installed:

Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Server
Tivoli® Enterprise Portal Server
Tivoli® Enterprise Portal

About this task

You can install the agent:

On the same workstation where the Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Server and Tivoli® Enterprise Portal Server are installed by Installing and configuring the Z Monitoring agent in a local environment.
On a workstation different from the Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Server and Tivoli® Enterprise Portal Server by Installing the Z Monitoring agent in a remote environment.
