Decrypting Datasets

You must decrypt the dataset if you want to export a dataset into a .csv file. If you decrypt a dataset, it revokes the protection offered to the test data in it.

Before you begin

You must have created a test that contains a dataset with at least one encrypted column.

Procedure

Under the Functional Test Projects view, double-click the required dataset. The dataset is displayed in a browser.
Right-click the heading of the column from which you want to remove encryption and select Decrypt column.
The Decrypt column dialog box is displayed.
Enter the password that you used to encrypt the column.
Click Ok.

Results

The encryption is removed and the dataset column is decrypted.
