Administering IBM® Rational® Test Control Panel Rational® Test Control Panel
is a server-based web application providing a central repository for virtualized services. The Rational® Test Control Panel allows you to use virtual services published with Rational Integration Tester to create, share, and deploy virtualized test environments in IBM® Rational Test Virtualization Server.
Managing users
IBM® Rational® Test Control Panel has multiple choices associated with its security model. Depending on the security option selected during installation of the Rational Test Control Panel, different options are available based on the user accounts.

None	A "normal" user	There is no concept of an administrator user and all Rational® Test Control Panel users have the same privileges, so there are no user details to be maintained.
Rational® Test Control Panel Built-in	A "normal" user	The user can modify his or her server login password (for information about this, refer to Changing your login password and default domain).
	An administrator	The user can change the passwords of other users and assign (and remove) administrative privileges to (from) other users (for information about this, refer to Changing other users login passwords and Assigning/removing administrative privileges).
Active Directory/Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)	A "normal" user	The user can use Active Directory/LDAP tools (whichever are applicable) to change his or her server login password.
	An administrator	The user can use Active Directory/LDAP tools (whichever are applicable) to change his or her server login password. A server users privileges are determined by the membership of the Active Directory/LDAP groups selected during a fresh installation of Rational® Test Control Panel or when you modify an existing installation.
