Configuring the Jira server as a change management system
You must configure the Jira server as a change management system in your project in Rational® Test Automation Server before you can create issues in the Jira project for the tests that ran.
Before you begin
- Ensured that you are assigned a role as a Project Owner or Tester in the project. See Managing access to server projects.

Generated a public key and a consumer key for the project in Rational® Test Automation Server and saved the keys in a text file. See Adding a Jira Software server URL.

Shared the public key and consumer key with the administrator of the Jira server to set up an application link in Jira, if you are not an administrator of the Jira server.

Created an application link in Jira, if you possess the privileges as an administrator of the Jira server. See Setting up an application link in the Jira server.
Procedure

Log in to Rational® Test Automation
Server.
The team space that contains your project is displayed.

Click
to open the project that contains the test assets.
The Overview page of the project is displayed.

Click
in the navigation pane.The Integration page is displayed.
- Click the CHANGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM tab.

Click the Open action menu icon , and then click Configure.
The Configure Jira server to authorize the application dialog is displayed.

Perform the following steps:
- Click Update.

You configured Jira as a change management system in Rational® Test Automation Server.

View the following information on the CHANGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM tab about the Jira configuration:
- The URL of the Jira server
- The project that you selected
- The status of the configuration
