Publishing test assets to the remote Git repository
When you create or update any test assets in Rational® Functional Tester, you can publish your changes to the remote Git repository. Therefore, when you publish test assets, other members in the project can use your test assets in their test run, if required.
Before you begin

Created or updated test assets in Rational® Functional Tester.

Made the local repository up-to-date by pulling the changes from the remote Git repository. See Pulling the changes from the remote Git repository.
About this task
Procedure
- Open Rational® Functional Tester.
- Locate the test assets files or projects that you updated from the Test Navigator pane.

Right-click the test assets or project, and then click
.The Git Staging view is displayed.
- Select the updated test asset files from the Unstaged Changes pane.
- Click or to select a specific file or all the files from the Unstaged Changes pane to the Staged Changes pane.
- Enter a message in the Commit Message pane.

Click Commit and Push.
The Push Result dialog box is displayed with the status of the commit to the remote Git repository.
