ASCII Text Transfer

For a VT session, you can transfer ASCII text files to or from your workstation.

To capture ASCII text to a file, use the ASCII Text Capture feature (see ASCII Text Capture for more information). Text Capture and Text Transfer can be used simultaneously.

From the Actions menu, you can use the following functions:
  • Start Receive Text
  • Start Send Text
Click Actions → Stop Receive Text or Actions → Stop Send Text to stop a transfer that you have initiated.
