1388 China Unicode Code Page

The following features are supported in Unicode for 1388 China Unicode Simplified Chinese character processing.

  • New font that supports all HCP-1388 code point along with UDC code points
  • Printing of DBCS characters
The CHS-HCP 1388 China Unicode do not supports the following features:
  • Host file transfer
  • Host file printing
  • Print functionality with Print to disk (.txt and .doc)
  • Print functionality using collect screen with Print to disk
  • Copy paste in command line (For Multiple characters)

Personal Communications maps 1388 China Unicode code pages as follows:
  • HCL CCSID 21868 to Unicode 6.0 UTF-32 (CCSID 25808)
  • Unicode 6.0 (CCSID 25808) to CCSID 21868
