Identifying and bookmarking URLs for individual topics in the product help system

Learn how to identify and bookmark URLs to individual topics in the product help.
Procedure
  • To copy a direct link to an individual topic:
    1. In the navigation pane, right-click the topic title.
    2. Select the menu item that is provided by your browser to copy the URL, such as Copy Link Location, Copy Shortcut, or Copy Link Address.
    3. Paste the link, such as in an email, document, or another browser.
  • Bookmarking a help topic in an Eclipse application is dependent on your browser. To bookmark a help topic from the topic toolbar:
    1. Select a topic in the navigation pane.
    2. Click the Add bookmarkBookmark Document icon in the topic toolbar.
    3. To view the topic later, click the Bookmarks viewBookmarks tab in the navigation pane.
  • If your browser does not have a Add bookmarkBookmark Document icon in the topic toolbar, to bookmark a help topic in your web application or help system browser, you might have one of the following options available to you:
    • Copy and save a URL by using a bookmark manager.
    • Right-click a topic title in the navigation menu and select the menu item that is provided by your browser to bookmark a topic, such as Bookmark this link or Add to favorites.
    • Right-click a topic page and select the menu item that is provided by your browser to bookmark a topic, such as Bookmark this page or Add to favorites.
