Symbolic parameters in Java™ generation

You can use symbolic parameters in Java™ generation, but in a much more limited way than in COBOL generation. For Java™ generation, symbolic parameters are only used in the genDirectory or destDirectory build descriptor options. For example, for the value of genDirectory, you can specify C:\genout\%EZEENV%. Then if you generate for a Windows™ environment, the actual generation output directory would be C:\genout\WIN. You can also define your own symbolic parameters for use in specifying values for the genDirectory or destDirectory build descriptor options.
