Preparing for deployment

After you have generated and prepared your programs, there are additional activities involved in setting up the runtime environment. These activities include the following:

Defining programs and transactions for CICS®
Defining files, temporary storage queues, and transient data queues for CICS®
Defining applications and transactions for IMS™
Customizing the sample runtime JCL for z/OS® batch and IMS™ BMP.
Customizing the sample runtime CL for iSeries®.
