Migrating two Host On-Demand servers with load balancer

To migrate changes from server to server in a configuration with two Host On-Demand servers behind a load balancer, consider the following issues to ensure that you retain your settings, key mappings, and macro pointers.

• The two servers must be identical, essentially clones of each other.
• Migrate the Host On-Demand Deployment Wizard zip files from the old Host On-Demand version by opening them with the new Deployment Wizard and creating the new zip file.
• It is very important that all Host On-Demand servers use exactly the same created zip files, since a unique sequence number gets generated and that is used to update the cached client information.
• If you need to update the Deployment Wizard zip file, then you will need to create a new zip file and deploy that to all the Host On-Demand servers.
