Enhanced ISPF: Reference List, Search, Change, and PDSE Workbench
File Manager provides several enhancements to the basic facilities that are available in an ISPF session: Enhanced Reference List, Enhanced Search, Enhanced Change, Indexed Search, and PDSE Workbench.
Indexed search
Use the indexed search to search for words in one or more partitioned data sets that are not load libraries. The search uses an index that contains all of the words and the occurrences of each word in a group of data sets.

- Function and panel reference lists

General

This panel defines the INDEX data set name. Enter the valid name of a data set. If the data set exists, then the Replace option is required.

Press ENTER with the cursor on Done to go directly to the INDEX member edit session with the LANG=dsn line specified.
Press ENTER to continue to the INDEX language and data sets definition panel.
Press F3 to proceed to the INDEX member edit session ignoring the contents of this panel.
