Enhanced ISPF: Reference List, Search, Change, and PDSE Workbench
File Manager provides several enhancements to the basic facilities that are available in an ISPF session: Enhanced Reference List, Enhanced Search, Enhanced Change, Indexed Search, and PDSE Workbench.
Indexed search
Use the indexed search to search for words in one or more partitioned data sets that are not load libraries. The search uses an index that contains all of the words and the occurrences of each word in a group of data sets.

Line commands

S: Selects an index member for subsequent search processing.
B: Edits a job that can be submitted to build or rebuild the index.
Note: It is recommended that REGION=OM is specified when running the job to ensure enough memory is available to build large indexes.
E: Edit a member.
V: View a member.
I: Insert a new member.
R: Rename a member.
D: Delete a member.
