  You can customize FM/CICS for national languages other than English.

  After you have completed the initial installation and customization of FM/CICS, you can perform the following steps to verify your customization. You might need to refer to the File Manager for z/OS User’s Guide and Reference for CICS.

Translating the FM/CICS logon messages

The language used in FM/CICS logon messages is determined by the setting of the LANGUAGE option in FMN3POPT. All FM/CICS messages are stored in the FMN3MENU source member. This CSECT is part of the root FM/CICS module so that an English version of the messages is always available.

If you are using a language other than English, Japanese or Korean, you must provide a version of FMN3MENU for your language, as described in Providing a multicultural version of FMN3MENU.
