Step 2. Run the FMN2CHKx sample job
The Db2® objects created in Step 1. Define Db2 objects to be used during verification have referential constraints defined. Before these objects can be accessed, you need to run the Db2® CHECK DATA utility against the objects to ensure that the data does not violate any data constraints.
Take a copy of the
check datamember from the sample library. Select the sample member that matches the Db2® version of the Db2® system where the IVP database is to be created. For example:
FMN2CHKC (for Db2 version 12 systems)
FMN2CHKD (for Db2 version 13 systems)
Follow the instructions at the top of the sample. You need to review and possibly change the following values:
- Job card
- Specify a valid job card.
- sss
- Change ssss to the appropriate value. This will be the same value you selected when you connected to FM/Db2.
- Db2 library name
- Change the Db2 library name to the name of the Db2® load library for the Db2® system.
- SORTLIB
- Review, and possibly change, the name of the library used for DFSORT, or equivalent product.
Submit the job. The expected return code is 0.
