Enhancing File Manager processing

You can enhance normal processing of a number of File Manager tasks by supplying a procedure that runs in conjunction with the File Manager process.

The procedure can comprise DFSORT™ statements, REXX statements, or a combination of both. There is a File Manager subset of the REXX language, called FASTREXX, that File Manager processes internally with high performance.
