SMFNO
- SMFNO
- Specifies the SMF record type for audit logging. You can specify a value from 128 to 255, or 0. The default is 0.
Note:
- Specifying SMFNO=0 indicates that audit logging will not create SMF records.
- File Manager base only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN0PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
- FM/IMS only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN1PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
- FM/Db2 only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN2PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
- FM/CICS only uses the value specified for this parameter, when the FMAUDIT parameter in the FMN3PARM member in the SYS1.PARMLIB (or its concatenations) specifies SAF_CTRL=NO.
- When the FMAUDIT parameter specifies SAF_CTRL=YES, audit logging is controlled by SAF and File Manager ignores this parameter.
