Installation requirements

This section describes the host and client requirements for IBM File Manager plug-in for Eclipse.

Host requirements

IBM File Manager plug-in for Eclipse requires a supported version of File Manager.

The ADFzCC server needs to be configured for the client to communicate with the host system. See Customizing the ADFzCC server.

Client requirements

File Manager plug-in for Eclipse is designed to work in an Eclipse environment such as IBM® Explorer for z/OS® Aqua or IBM® Developer for z/OS. The plug-in has been tested to work in these environments:

IBM® Explorer for z/OS® Aqua
IBM® Developer for z/OS® Version 14

The system requirements of your workstation depend on the target environment where you are installing the File Manager plug-in. Refer to the respective system requirements page of your target environment for more information.
