Configuring startup queries or charts

You can configure Rational® ClearQuest® Web to run a startup query or data-push chart each time you log in to a user database. Only one startup query or chart can be set.

Before you begin

You can set a startup query or chart only when logged in to the site that masters your User Profile record.

About this task

To configure a startup query or chart:

Procedure

In the ClearQuest® Navigator, locate the query or chart to run at startup.
Right-click the item to display the pop-up menu and click Run at Startup.
An arrow icon is placed over the query icon next to the query name.

Note: You can set the preference for the Load Startup Query Result to run the query and display the number of new items on the ClearQuest® Web banner since the last login. For more information, see Setting preferences.
