Restoring DevOps Code ClearCase® registry data after upgrade

If the upgrade process required you to install DevOps Code ClearCase® in a new directory path, restore the DevOps Code ClearCase® registry configuration and data.

About this task

After you upgrade a DevOps Code ClearCase® registry server, restore the registry files and client database from the backup versions that were created before upgrading.

Procedure

Copy the registry server files from the backup version to the DevOps Code ClearCase® registry directory:
- Windows: C:\Program Files\DevOps\Code\ClearCase\var\rgy
- Linux and UNIX: /var/adm/rational/clearcase/rgy
Copy the client list from backup version to the following directory:
- Windows: C:\Program Files\DevOps\Code\ClearCase\var\client_list.db
- Linux and UNIX: /var/adm/rational/clearcase/client_list.db
