Webserver Configuration page
You can use the Webserver Configuration page to change the default web server port for communication between Google Chrome and Rational® Functional Tester, and to enable logging of messages.
The web server port is used when you enable the Google Chrome browser manually in the Enable Environments for Testing dialog box. By default, the port 9100 is set for the web server. If this port is already in use, change it and specify an available port.
The Webserver Configuration page
contains the following controls:
- Webserver Port
- This field identifies the web server port for communication between
Google Chrome and Rational® Functional Tester.
If the default port 9100 is already in use, change it and specify
an available port. Note: If you change the port in the Webserver Configuration page, ensure that you also make the same change in the Options for the IBM® Rational® Functional Tester for Google Chrome™ extension. For instructions to do this, see Changing the web server port for communication with Google Chrome.
- Enable Webserver Logging
- Select this check box to enable logging of messages for the JavaScript classes in the Google Chrome browser. The messages are logged in the chromeSupportDebug.txt file that is found in the log file path specified in the Logging and Tracing page.
Note: After setting your configuration preferences
in this page, restart Rational® Functional Tester for
your changes to take effect.
